The first article I remember reading about Kristen Stewart was in Nylon, several years back, like, 2007 (whoa guys, that’s like, ages in entertainment news life). Anyway, the K-Stew Nylon interview was conducted in some off-the-beaten-path diner and the topic was how Kristen was not the average starlet running the Mickey Mouse club circuit and also, how she was a tough young thing who swore like a sailor. In short, she was still flying low on the Hollywood radar as somewhat of an unknown and didn’t give two shits about the fame game. Flash-forward to now and she’s a Hollywood obsession and the subject of more gossip rag headlines than one could count and she still doesn’t give a damn. Too cool for school and I love that about her. It’s her apparent disdain for the limelight and and all that red carpet nonsense that makes me want to be her friend.  K-Stew, have your people call my people?

Regardless if you’re a Twilight fan or not, it’s undeniable that the girl looks fan-frickin-tastic in the July Vanity Fair spread (photographed in Paris by Mario Testino. read: mayjorrrr). And the corresponding article by Ingrid Sischy is a fine piece, too. Read it and peep it:
